Expertise

I am a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Biotechnology from Amity University, Rajasthan, and am currently working as a Development Officer (IPR) at Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology, and Sciences (SHUATS), old AAI. My profile includes developing and supervising office procedures and schedules, and reviewing and modifying them as needed. Greeting and directing visitors, answering phone inquiries, and handling complaints in a courteous, professional manner. Monitoring and maintaining office supplies, inventory, and equipment, and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels and quality. Occasionally, I travel off-site to deliver reports or files to other departments or clients. Preparing and distributing memos, letters, reports, and other documents. Maintenance of IPR asserts includes publication by the university. Masters in Biochemistry from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Worked as Research Associate in Project “Intellectual Property Management and Transfer/Commercialization of Agricultural Technology” at Central Tobacco Research Institute, Rajahmundry, India since 2011. I had the opportunity of maintaining Intellectual asserts of the Institute, also preparing Result Framework Documents (RFD) for every month. Here, I learned patent prior art search, landscaping, drafting of a patent, applying for patent, keeping all required necessary data, renewal of the granted patents, then commercialization of those asserts by collaborating with industries dealing with technology transfer and non-exclusive licensing/on interest basis of the available technologies. 1n 2014, I have even completed Masters in Intellectual Property Law, IGNOU. Science background with legal eloquence made me expert in Intellectual Property issues.

Prior to this, I worked as a Research Associate (Biochemistry) on the project “Oilseed Brassica Improvement in India, China and Australia” for one year and six months at Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India. This phase of Research enabled to bag three publications as a reward to my hard work. I was recruited to analyse Brassica seeds for their Glucosinolate and Erucic Acid content, apart from that I worked on Phytochemical analyses in central Laboratory, where I got expertise on sophisticated instruments like HPLC, GCMS, FT-NIR, ELISA Reader. NMR, UV –Visible Spectrophotometer.

After post graduation, I was joined as R&D Chemist, in Laila Research Centre, Laila Impex, Autonagar, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. Laila Research Centre (LRC) was a herbal production company, I was placed in Pharmacology & Biochemistry Laboratory, where I started my career as a researcher, learned to do phytochemical analysis both in vitro and in vivo tests on mice and Enzyme kinetics studies on spectrophotometer (LOX & COX). I had the opportunity of working as a clinical Biochemist in a Clinical trial, where we analyzed blood and serum samples of participants on Zero, First, 30th, 60th and 90th day. Totally we have analyzed twenty five parameters both Endpoint and Kinetics. Later I have joined in City Cardiac Research Centre, Vijayawada as Lab In-charge where all serological tests were done on semi and fully automatic analyzers. It was a multispecialty hospital but specialized in cardiology. Daily at least 4 to five surgeries take place, its labs’ duty to keep all the reports and blood bags etc., required for those surgeries. Apart from that preparing roaster for technicians in the lab, requirement consumables, indenting reagents & chemicals, glassware and other miscellaneous items was necessary.

Intellectual Property

Contributed and obtained a Design for "PLANT ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES ANALYSING DEVICE" with Design No. 417626-001
