Dr Ashish Alexander is Professor and Head, Department of English, SHUATS. He has previously worked with Pearson Education, the world's largest text-book publisher, as Development Editor. He has also been on the editorial board of magazines and newspapers. He has written for various media and academic publications, including The Tribue, Indian Express, Caravan magazine, Madras Courier, Dainik Bhaskar and others.

Most recently, he has been the Inklings Project Fellow, AY 24–25, under the University of Notre Dame's McGrath Institute.
