The U.G. courses consist of Core, Discipline Specific/Elective and Generic Elective. The Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC) & Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) are mandatory. The Generic Elective (GE) Course is chosen generally from an unrelated discipline/subject. The Core, DSE and GE Courses are of 5 credits each: Lecture 3 +1 (Reading report/Paper presentation + 1 tutorial per week. AEC & SEC courses are of 3 credits: Lecture 2 + 1 for Tutorial. One can offer the extended essay instead of one Paper. Interdisciplinary perspective, continuous assessment and vocational formation are an integral part of learning process. It consists of orientation, counseling, supervised weekend ministry in Yeshu Darbar, Chapel, Preaching engagements in morning chapel, leading devotions in Yeshu Darbar on weekdays, service in ‘Rein Basera’ on week-ends, and summer vacation ministry in the home churches/related charitable organizations. A student is expected to submit a Reflective Report.

The Master of Arts/Master of Theology in Old Testament/New Testament/ Christian Theology/ Christian Ethics/ Religions/History of Christianity/Missiology/Christian Ministry/Christian Education/Counselling/Communication is of two years (four semesters) duration.

Gospel and Plough Institute of Theology (GPIT) offers Ph.D in Theology program in various fields of specialization such as Old Testament / New Testament / Christian Theology / Christian Ethics / History of Christianity / Missiology / Christian Ministry / Christian Education / Counselling / Communication. The Ph.D course work consists of minimum 20 credits and thesis 55 credits. More credits for course work may be offered on the recommendation of the student advisory committee of a particular student depending on the academic background of the student and requirement of prerequisite deficiency courses for research. The duration of the program is a minimum of three years (six semester) and a maximum of six years (twelve semesters), including course work. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the University rules.
