The Department of Advanced Theological Studies (DATS) offers PhD in Christian Studies. It is a research programme offered for candidates who can pursue research while maintaining their full-time teaching or leadership positions in their respective institutions. Students will work with a dissertation-mentor to complete work either in Theology (Bible and Theology) or Practical Theology (Leadership, History and Mission) after completing eight core courses offered in compressed form and two tutorials. The faculty consists of scholars from India and abroad. The duration of the programme is a minimum of three years (six-semesters) and a maximum of six years (twelve-semesters).
